The Monsters

The Dragons

Overview

The Dragons: mystic beast that can be found in nearly every RPG or heroic fantastic story. Of course the Might and Magic Saga do it well and offer a grand variety of this lizards.

Form the last 3 Saga chapters, Might and Magic VI was the best-furnished in Dragons regarding quantity and spices. But Might and Magic VIII is not empty of them. There is one major difference in MM8: Most Dragons are not hostile to you and you can even speak to them.

  • Garrote Gorge north region and the Dragon Cave (see map red 1).
  • Ironsand Desert in Ilsingore's Cave (map yellow 3).

The Phoenixes

Overview

Phoenixes are the mystic bird of fire. Basically these birds must resurrect as soon as they die, but in the Might and Magic games they do not. It's a good thing because else you could have a long fight :).

In Might and Magic VIII there is only one spot where you can find them for sure. Go to the Plane of Fire and head for the War Camp (on the map, yellow 1). It's the big building straight-right when you enter the plane. In this building you can find from 1 to 3 Phoenixes class birds. If you are high level you have more chance to get a Phoenix else it will be lesser monsters from the Phoenixes class.

There is another way to get Phoenixes it's by requesting a fight in the Arena. But you need to be very lucky and have the good level (requesting character) to get them.

The Titans

Overview

Titans are the biggest monsters supposed to be in the Might and Magic universe. These tall slow and very stupid monsters tend always to walk around in the hardest regions of the games.

Unfortunately the Titans do not appears in Might and Magic VIII, to the grand regret of many of us. So don't seek them, they are not in Jadame. But we hope we will find them back in Might and Magic IX, and this will probably be the case since they are already designed and used in Legends of Might and Magic.
